Learning to sit & swing! Dad's b-day @ Hooters!

Oliver got pushed in the swing for the first time this week, he loved it!

Cousins by chance, friends by choice! Oliver is laughing at Grayson who kept trying to pull his hat off! Oliver is sitting up on his own more and more each day!

Handsome fella...makes mom's day so happy!

I got this picture of the sunrise the other morning right in our backyard. This is Mt. Rainer.

Dad's big b-day bash at Hooter's! The waitress's made him get on a chair and do a little dance!

Happy B-day dad!

Oliver is also sitting in his own highchair now, even though he doesn't eat any food yet.

Mimi's visit to meet Oliver, her 21st grandchild!

We got a salmon at Pikes Place Market for dinner. In traditional Pikes Place style our salmon got thrown all around just like on TV! It is always fun to watch!

Aunt Gloria came to visit too, Oliver was happy to meet some of his Gilliam family!

We went to the Tacoma Blown Glass museum. It was beautiful!

We took the Mimi on the ferry on Valentines day. We went to Bremerton and went to the local art galleries and antique shops. I got beautiful earrings for valentines day!

Gabe had fun at the art gallery, not looking at the art but taking random pictures!

Oliver got tuckered out from all of the strolling and shopping!

We also happened across a Pyrex Museum, you know that great glass dishware from the 70's. It was actually pretty neat.

Thanks Mimi for coming to see us!

Our Precious baby...here are a few of his 4 month pictures!

Superbowl, Namesake celebration and more!

Oliver got tuckered out from watching his cousins play Wii. We get all dressed up if we're just staying at home We only wear one sock and the stripped 70's turtleneck with navy pj pants is a new fashion trend for 3 1/2 month olds!
Oliver's namesake day was February 3rd. Oliver is named after Orthodox Saint Oliver of Portonuovo. Oliver of Portonuovo was a Benedictine monk from Santa Maria di Portonuovo, a community at the foot of Monto Conero, south of Ancona on the Italian Adriatic coast.
It is thought that he came from Armenia, or that he originally was a Camaldolese monk from Dalmatia. In Orthodoxy, you celebrate your Saint's namesake day like your birthday so we made a special cake in celebration, but of course Oliver couldn't eat it so we had to eat it for him!

Daddy headed to work and Oliver busy with his favorite activity walker.

I was watching Grayson and he made a mess with applesauce. This Cheerio got stuck on his nose!

Mary came over with baby Annika to our Superbowl party. Annika wasn't too into the game though!

Daddy and Oliver watched the whole Superbowl together. Gabe said the Cardinals in the Superbowl was a once in a lifetime event like getting married or winning the lottery. I suppose them losing is like your bride walking out on you or losing a winning ticket? Needless to say he was pretty disappointed at their loss. he was going to change Oliver's name to Cardinal if they had won, thank goodness they lost!

Oliver and daddy all dressed in Cardinal red for the big party!
